Ms. Nicdao’s Geography class does not just learn facts about the Middle East and Central Asia, they discover it on their own. The unit consisted of discussing videos depicting the view of women and education in some Middle East countries controlled by radical Muslims and the Taliban. Last year, CNN Hero Razia Jan spoke to the students at PMA regarding teachers and students who literally risk their lives for education.
In these pictures, students are sharing their websites to one another in class. Student work is not only for the teacher but for a wider audience like their classmates and for YOU, the person who is reading this.
